About our school
The Upper Secondary Vocational School Senec is situated in Senec, which is a small town known for its lakes called Sunny Lakes. Senec is just 25 km far from Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
The school provides three types of education for the students aged 15 – 19:
full upper secondary education (study takes for 4 years),
upper secondary education (study takes for 3 years),
extension upper secondary education (study takes for 2 years) for graduates from three-year upper secondary education to get full upper secondary education.
Our school focuses on six branches of study:
Four-year study
Business School
(full upper secondary education) – graduates have theoretical knowledge and practical skills to manage a small company and they are qualified for starting their own business or they can study at universities.
Environment
(full upper secondary education) – graduates have theoretical knowledge and practical skills to monitor the environment, to solve problems of environment protection or they can study at universities.
Three-year study
Car Repairer/Mechanic
(upper secondary education) – graduates have theoretical
knowledge and practical skills as craftsmen to repair cars or they can work as tradesmen, work in services and manufacturing or they can continue studying on extension upper secondary education in our school.
Technical and Administrative Staff
(upper secondary education) – graduates master typing and secretarial work, they can work as lower administrative staff in transport, production, trade and services, warehousing or they can continue studying on extension upper secondary education in our school.
Two-year study
Sale and Service of vehicles (extension upper secondary education for students from three-year upper secondary education) – graduates get full upper secondary education, they can work or study at universities.
Business in handicraft and services (extension upper secondary education for students from three-year upper secondary education) – graduates get full upper secondary education, they can work or study at universities.
Pilot Centre students are trained both in school facilities (workrooms equipped with diagnostic and service technologies) and branded service stations in study programme Car Mechanic in one of four specializations: mechanician, electrician, coachbuilder, lacquerer.
